Project 1

Prompted by the 150th anniversary of Richard Strauss' birth, Cantanti Project's first project was an all-Strauss concert of lieder and opera selections from Arabella, Ariadne auf Naxos, and Der Rosenkavalier.

True to the spirit of Cantanti Project, the concert was singer-conceived, singer-produced, and singer-organized, with repertoire shaped by singer suggestions and finalized with the intention of featuring each performer as a soloist and ensemble member.

Featuring: Allyson Dezii, Christine Duncan, Veronica Gonzalez, Chelsea Melamed, Barbara Porto, Siobahn Sung, Jessica Tivens, Joyce Yin, and Kristin Young, with Bill Lewis on piano.
